Whether you ride daily, occasionally or haven’t tried transit yet, the Sacramento Area Council of Governments is looking for feedback on our area’s bus, dial-a-ride, paratransit and light rail transit services. SACOG accepts transit needs related comments from any area in the counties of Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba.

What are your thoughts on local transit service? Would you like to use it for more trips, but don’t because of issues like where it goes, the schedule or cost? Are there places you really need to go but cannot currently? Please give us your thoughts by participating in an Unmet Transit Needs community outreach even or public hearing or by relaying your comments to SACOG.

On Saturday, September 24, Unitrans will operate a bus shuttle departing from the Alumni Center to the UC Davis Medical Stadium at approximately 4:15 PM.

At 2:40 PM and 2:50 PM, a bus shuttle connecting Lot 53 to the Alumni Center will depart. 

This service is free and open to all customers.

Fall academic year service resumes on Wednesday, September 21 and will be reduced from pre-pandemic levels. Expect crowded buses and possible bypassing. Please try to take a bus 30 minutes before your class starts. For schedules, click Routes above and select your route. Be sure to click on the "Term" box to select the correct service period.

30 minute service: B, C, D, G, J, K*, M*, P, Q, V-Express, V-Limited, and W lines

60 minute service: A, E, F, L, and Z lines

Starting September 19, the Yolobus 42A and 42B will provide additional service on Fifth Street and Alhambra Drive to supplement the A and Z lines. Yolobus morning 42 service will be every 30 minutes. Yolobus is fare-free with a UC Davis undergraduate registration card and will provide a faster, direct ride from Fifth Street to campus! Try the 42!

*The printed bus schedule has two known errors. The M line weekday schedule and K line weekend schedule contain errors. Use the online schedules. The M line departs the terminal five minutes later than listed in the printed schedule and the K line weekend timepoints are incorrect for Arthur and Russell/Sycamore..

On Friday, September 16 through Monday, September 19, a special temporary V line bus stop will be available on Hutchison Drive Eastbound (towards campus) between Dairy Road and La Rue Road at the Yolobus stop to accommodate orientation activities.

On Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18, Unitrans will operate a special campus shuttle approximately every 20 minutes between West Village and the IM Fields on Hutchison Drive for orientation attendees. Click here for shuttle route map. Shuttle will say "CAMPUS SHUTTLE" on the electronic headsign.

Saturday Shuttle Hours: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM (every 20 min.). After 10:30 AM, use U line to/from Memorial Union Bus Terminal. U line service starts at 9:25 AM and operates hourly.

Sunday Shuttle Hours: 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM (every 20 min). After 9:30 AM, use U line to/from Memorial Union Bus Terminal. U line service starts at 9:25 AM and operates hourly.
