Winter Break Service Thru January 5, 2024

The following service levels are in effect by date range. Please review carefully. Academic year service resumes on Monday, January 8.

 

Monday, December 18 thru Friday, December 22 - Break Service will operate. All service will be to/from the MU Terminal. Service will only operate on the B, E, F, G, K, L-MU, M, O, P, Q, and U lines.

*Additional T line afternoon trips depart from Davis Senior High School at 12:55 PM on Tuesday, December 19-Friday, December 22.

 

Saturday, December 23 - Weekend service will operate.

 

Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25 - NO Unitrans service. Use the Yolobus 42A/B.

 

Tuesday, December 26 thru  - Saturday, December 30 - Weekend service will operate.

 

Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1 - NO Unitrans service. Use the Yolobus 42A/B.

 

Tuesday, January 2 thru Friday, January 5 - Break Service will operate. All service will be to/from the MU Terminal. Service will only operate on the B, E, F, G, K, L-MU, M, O, P, Q, and U lines.

 

Saturday, January 6 and Sunday, January 7 - Weekend service will operate.

Thanksgiving Airport Shuttle & Service Reminders!

Unitrans will operate our annual pre-Thanksgiving shuttle from the Memorial Union Terminal to Sacramento International Airport (SMF) on Wednesday, November 22. The shuttle will depart the terminal on the hour, every hour from 9am to 6pm with departures at 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:10 PM, 1:10 PM, 2:10 PM, 3:10 PM, 4:10 PM, 5:10 PM, and 6:10 PM. Board at the Yolobus 42 spot. Undergraduate AggieCards accepted as well as all other valid fares and passes. Click here for combined Unitrans and Yolobus 42A schedule! In addition on:

 

Wednesday, November 22, there will be no night service. All Unitrans service ends after the 8:10 PM terminal departures. See above for Airport service!

Thursday, November 23, there will be no service. Use Yolobus 42A/B as an alternative.

Friday, November 24, Unitrans will operate weekend service.

Football Game Day Shuttle on Saturday, November 18

On Saturday, November 18, Unitrans will operate a bus shuttle departing from the Alumni Center to the UC Davis Health Stadium at approximately 9:00 AM.

 

At 6:30 AM, a bus shuttle connecting Lot 53 to the Alumni Center will depart. 

 

This service is free and open to all customers.

P & Q Line Detour on Saturday, November 18 on 14th & F Streets

P/Q Service Alert! On Saturday, November 18 from 8:00am-12:00pm, the P and Q lines will be detoured off of 14th Street and F Street due to the Turkey Trot race. The following bus stops will not be served during the detour: F @ Covell (P/Q), F @ 14th (Q), 14th @ F (P), 14th @ B (P/Q), 14th @ Davis High (P), 14th at Oak (Q).

Use Covell @ J and bus stops on Villanova as alternatives.

Academic Year Service Resumes on Wednesday, Sept. 27! Welcome Back Aggies!

On Wednesday, September 27, academic year ("regular") service resumes. Expect crowded buses, so please plan ahead. If you are able, please consider biking or walking to class, or take a bus that arrives on campus at least 30 minutes before your class starts to ensure you arrive on campus on time.

 

Buses will operate on the following weekday frequencies:

 

Every 30 minutes: B, C, D, E, F, G, J, K, L, M, P, Q, V-EX, V-LT, W, and Z

Every 60 minutes: A line

The A & Z lines switched terminals. The A line now operates to/from the Memorial Union Terminal and the Z line to/from the Silo Terminal.

Rear Door Boarding has Ended. On single deck buses, you may only board through the front door. On double decker buses you may continue to board through the rear door if a conductor directs you to do so.

Passes and fares will be checked for all customers - No exceptions!

Roadway Construction Alert! L Line Delays and Closed Bus Stops

Due to roadway construction, expect on-going delays to the L line. See below for details.

 

L line: Pole Line @ Donnor (#260) and Pole Line @ Picasso (#106) bus stops will likely be closed this week due to roadway construction. If closed, use Pole Line @ Claremont (#092) or Moore @ Pole Line (#249) bus stops. Expect delays.

Silo Terminal Temporary Shutdown - September 5-6, 2023

The Silo Bus Terminal will be closed on Tuesday, September 5 and Wednesday, September 6 due to construction on Hutchison Drive on campus. During the closure, ALL Silo buses will board and deboard customers on Hutchison Drive at Kleiber Hall Drive adjacent to Lot 41 (click here for location on a map). Expect delays on the L, W, and Z lines as these lines will need to travel around campus to get to the temporary boarding location. Regular summer operations should resume on Thursday, September 7.

 

All Silo Lines - C, D, J, L, V, W, and Z lines are impacted
